Last week I slowly took out a loose fitting orange sweater from Maurices, and paired it with croc printed leather leggings from Express and Vince Camuto heels.
I kept it simple with a neutral smokey eye and straight hair.
Ta da!
Later on that week I took the color navy out for a spin. I've been so anxious to wear my new boots from DSW that I jumped at the first opportunity. That morning I think I could see my breath, but it was supposed to warm up throughout the day. My solution?
Light and flowy top, cotton leggings, and boots. :) These over the knee Unisa boots are stunners. I loved them so much I bought them in two colors; and you really can't beat that kind of price either.
I finished it off by throwing my hair in a bun and grabbing my Vince Camuto bag as I ran out the door to work.
Can we all just appreciate a good red lip? Lipstick really isn't something that I grab for a lot in my drawer, but I seem to have a million of. I'm not too big of a fan of a bright lip in the summer time, as it may have to do with the fact that the weather can get so hot and sticky, that the last thing I want is to have to worry about lipstick getting smeared all over my face from the humidity. So I tend to just wear it in the fall and winter.
Yesterday, I embraced the red lip along with these plaid leggings from Target
and these amazing booties from Nine West,
I had my nails painted Russian Navy by OPI and threw on my fluffy Marc Jacobs scarf.
Finished everything off by layering on Red Velvet from Revlon's lip butters and I was sent packing.
I put on a black leather jacket for when it got chillier in the evening and kept my hair loose, wavy, and natural.
Bam.
